About this site

Senior Fraud Guide is an independent educational publication launched in May 2026.

We publish free, plainly written breakdowns of the scams that target older adults: how each one works, what the warning signs are, and exactly where to report it. Every figure we cite is sourced to its original government or nonprofit report.

We do not sell anything, accept advertising, or take sponsorships. We do not recommend investments, products, or providers, and nothing here is investment, legal, or financial advice. If you believe you have been targeted, contact your own bank directly using the number on the back of your card, and report it to the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center at ic3.gov.

You can subscribe by email at no cost to receive new articles as they are published. There is no paid tier and nothing is ever sold to subscribers.
